Our managing directors, Joanne Church PG dip FRIPH and Claire Hussey BSc (Hons) FRIPH, have over 25 years of combined experience in Food Safety and Health & Safety roles in retail, supply chain and manufacturing environments.  They are both fellows of the RIPH.

Prior to setting up Safer Food Ltd, they worked as a dynamic job-sharing partnership as Retail Quality Assurance Managers for Sainsburys Supermarkets Ltd, where they were responsible for development and delivery of food safety policy & training programmes, HACCP formation and the implementation & auditing of quality assurance systems throughout the Sainsburys estate.
